OUR COMMITMENT
Our Alive team cares deeply about providing a great festival experience for all guests. We understand that navigating a state park can be difficult for an individual who may need additional assistance and we don’t take that lightly. Please review the following accommodations available below, prior to attending the Alive Music Festival.

Alive now has an Accessible Line at the shuttle stops. If you have a blue wristband, you can head to the front of the line at any of the three shuttle locations. Wristbands will be given to those with accessibility needs along with one companion. Accessibility wristbands are distributed upon arrival to the park for guests with a verified ADA placard or license plate.

Motorized Wheelchairs
Motorized wheelchairs and 3-wheeled or 4-wheeled scooters are permitted at Alive for guests requiring an accommodation. For safety reasons, guests may NOT use personal golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, 2-wheeled scooters, bicycles, or motorbikes. Some roads and trails are paved, however much of the festival grounds are grass or gravel terrain.
If you need to recharge your motorized wheelchair or other medical equipment, you may do so at any of our charging stations located at all of our Marketplace/Merch Tents.
- Bring all cords and accessories needed to charge your devices.
- Chargers must use a 110-volt, 20-amp circuit.
- Alive does not provide wheelchair or scooter rentals.
HELPFUL DETAILS
Environment – State Park
The Alive Music Festival takes place on natural terrain, with the beautiful surroundings of Atwood Lake Park and Campgrounds. There are gravel roads throughout much of the festival grounds and grass areas around the stages. If it rains, the festival area may become muddy and difficult to get around. Please make sure to prepare yourself for rain and/or other natural occurrences that may change the nature of the terrain. Off-road wheelchair tires and pneumatic tire repair kits are recommended. In the case of inclement weather, certain parts of the festival may be inaccessible for wheelchairs or motorized vehicles. The Alive Music Festival covers a great amount of area. Please give yourself the appropriate travel time to navigate throughout the festival.
Service Animals
Service animals are allowed at the festival. Because we ONLY allow service animals, proof that the animal has been certified, trained, or licensed is most helpful to our many volunteers, who are ensuring the safety of all guests. Though it is not required, a vest or patch which is visible to those around the service animal aids in ensuring that other guests do not distract service animals from caring for their owners.
A ‘service animal’ is defined as “any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability, including, but not limited to, guiding individuals with impaired vision, alerting individuals with impaired hearing to intruders or sounds, providing minimal protection or rescue work, pulling a wheelchair, or fetching dropped items.” Emotional support or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore are not allowed at the Alive Music Festival.
- Service animals must be accompanied by the handler with the disability at all times.
- Service animals must be under the control and supervision of their handler at all times.
- Service animals are not permitted to be left unattended under any circumstances.
- Handlers are required to be prepared for and clean up after, their service animal at all times.
First Aid
- First Aid/EMT Station located in the Amphitheater – Open daily from 9:00am to 10:00pm.
- Band-Aid Stations located at: Woods Stage Merch Tent, The Next Gen Merch Tent, and Showers Tent while open.
- For all emergencies, dial 911 from any phone.
